Types of Events at SPDTC

AKC Obedience Trials

SPDTC hosts 2 obedience each year in April and October.

AKC Agility Trials

SPDTC hosts 4 agility trials a year in January, February, April and November.

AKC Scent Work Trials and NACSW Trials

SPDTC hosts multiple AKC Scent Work and NACSW Nose Work trials throughout the year. Trials are listed on the Events page.

CGC Tests

Canine Good Citizen tests are offered about once a month. These tests are open to anyone, although we give current SPDTC students and members the first opportunity to register. For more information, please email obedience@SPDTC.com.

Obedience Run Thrus

Held on Friday evenings at our South Saint Paul location. Become a member to receive email notifications about upcoming dates for run thrus and the opportunity to sign up first.

Agility Run and Done’s

A few times a year, SPDTC hosts run and done’s for Agility. These events let teams run full courses and even train in the ring if they wish. Follow the SPDTC’s Facebook page for more information as these are scheduled as well as registration information.

Sniff-N-Go

SPDTC periodically hosts sniff-n-go events at various locations.
