Bev Olson: Secretary
Bev has been involved in dog sports for the past 24 years. She started with a Cocker Spaniel and a Sheltie in obedience. Bev then started working with Rottweiler’s which she showed in obedience, conformation and in the preferred agility classes. Bev and her husband Dan joined SPDTC in 2001, when they started Dan’s puppy, Seth (MACH, UD), in agility classes.
Bev has been on the board of directors since 2007 and became the club secretary shortly after that. Bev started a new Foundations of Agility class in 2007 and is still teaching that class today. She especially enjoys working with students and dogs of all ages and all levels of training.
Bev had Rottweiler’s for 14 years before switching to Border Collies in 2005, with her amazing heart dog, Remington (MACH2, MXF, MXS2, MJC, T2B3, MFB, CDX, RE and dock dogs master big air jumper). Bev also has two Remington kids, Ryza (MACH, MXS, MJS, XF, T2B2, CDX, RE and dock dogs big air senior jumper), and Renegade, the baby, who is training in agility, obedience, rally and herding.
Bev thinks SPDTC has great programs to offer students and is very happy to be a part of the club.
